Gallery Kappelhoff was founded in 1977 by Herbert and Jutta Kappelhoff. Following a successful 13 years and growing demand, the initial gallery space became too small. This resulted in the first move of the business to a larger space in 1980, featuring an in-house workshop to meet tailored client requests more efficiently. A second move followed in 2001 to the gallery's current address: Steinstrasse in Emmerich am Rhein.

Making the impossible, possible.
Over the years, Gallery Kappelhoff has established a strong and lasting network of artists for whom the business organises exhibitions and offers a constant representation in the gallery itself.
Besides the extensive network of artists, clients will discover that Gallery Kappelhoff is more than just a gallery. Additional services such as bespoke, in-house framing are also available.

Wedding Dress
No request is too unusual and with the gallery's proximity to the border, many corporate and private clients from non-EU countries seek Gallery Kappelhoff's expertise to realise more challenging and unique ideas.
Often referred to as the A to Z of galleries, the business has framed items such as car keys and dentures but one of the most outstanding projects was the framing of a wedding dress. For this, Herbert Kappelhoff built a tailored display-box. Click here to see the result...

We look positively towards the future, curious for the coming things.
